    The Takeaway

    In downtown Charleston we saw an increase in inventory of 17.2% for the first quarter of 2025 over the first quarter of 2024. Despite increased inventory the average sale price continues to climb each month and it's up 33% over this time last year. Buyers are getting a little more time to view and decide on a property with days on market increasing by 55% to 59 days.
